Welcome to the musical world of classical pianist, Clemens Teufel.

Born in Germany, Mr. Teufel's piano education was influenced by both the German and Russian piano traditions.  Mr. Teufel studied at the University of Music "Franz Liszt" in Weimar, Germany under Professor Peter Waas. Upon graduating, Mr. Teufel completed his graduate studies as a student of Professor Lev Natochenny at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt, Germany. 

Currently, Mr. Teufel performs and provides masterclasses across the globe. He has performed in venues including Lincoln Center, Newport Music Festival, Rockport Music, Longy's School of Music Pickman concert hall, Cité des arts in Paris, Summit Music Festival New York, and the Beijing Conservatory besides many others.

Mr. Teufel has recorded his first solo album with American piano music of Howard Hanson and George Gershwin, which is available at iTunes, Spotify and Amazon or in the shop on this website.

Collaboration with Soprano, Olha Abakumova 

I am very excited to partner-up with amazing soprano, Olha Abkumova. We are starting to perform on May 14th together at the beautiful Redwood Library and Athenaeum with a colorful program that includes music by Ukrainain composers as well as Lieder by Schumann, Strauss and Gershwin!

Big news: As of September 18th I will be curating Musical Sundays at the Redwood Library and Athenaeum, America's oldest Library and one of the finest place on earth - literally!

I will kick off the series with a solo recital on September 18th with Debussy and Beethoven. Come join us and don't forget to reserve a seat at www.redwoodlibrary.org

Next digital concert: Liszt and Chopin at the Frederick historical piano collection 

It is a great pleasure to announce my next concert which will be premiered at www.groupmuse.com and feature music by Liszt and Chopin on two historical pianos, an Erard from 1959 and an Erard from 1840.

The concert is recorded and streamed in HD and the program includes a selection of Liszt's Années de Pélerinages, the Rigoletto Paraphrase as well as Chopin's Scherzo No. 2 Op.31 and two Nocturnes Op.9/1 and Op.15/1.

There will be a zoom reception after the concert.

Enjoy an intriguing program with piano-music by Franz Liszt and Frederic Chopin on two Erard Pianos from 1840 and 1859. This event was filmed and recorded in HD quality at the Frederick Historical Piano Collection in Ashburnham and is performed by German pianist, Clemens Teufel. Clemens has performed concerts and given masterclasses in Asia, Europe and the United States including the music school of the Beijing conservatory and Lincoln Center, New York.
